Reflexology, also known as "zone therapy", is a complementary therapy, holistic-in-approach, a simple science and is a safe and highly effective way of treating the body without the use of drugs or surgery.
There are corresponding reflexes on the foot for every part of the body and by massaging these reflex points, it is hoped that the body's self-healing process is encouraged.
The massage treatment involved in reflexology is effective in countering the effects of stress and tension; it can be so relaxing that people have been known to fall asleep during the treatment!
